Do I have to take the entire Level III course again?

No. Level III Recertification is designed for currently commissioned security officers who need to complete their renewal training requirements.

Can I take Level III Recertification online or in person?

Yes. Security Institute offers Level III Recertification both online and in person, so you can choose the training option that works best for your schedule. If you choose the online course, the classroom portion is completed online and your required firearms proficiency is completed with SI in person.

Is firearms proficiency included in the price?

Yes. At Security Institute, your required firearms proficiency is included with your Level III Recertification. We don’t separate it into an additional fee for our students.

When should I complete my recertification?

Don’t wait until the last minute. Completing your training early gives you time to handle the remaining renewal requirements without unnecessary stress or delays.
